The contract for the construction of the conservatory adjoining my house was not between myself and Building Services Anglia hence why it is no longer covered by warranty. The Facts - Subsidence to dwarf wall on which UPVC conservatory sits. Subsidence to flooring within conservatory. Non transfer of warranty so Building Services Anglia will not cover any work. Opinion (by Building firms and myself) - Inadequate footings of under 3FT causing subsidence to brick wall. Concrete pad for flooring completely inadequate, upon inspection pad does not even butt up to house brickwork. The workmanship here has been described as completely inadequate by many builders I have hired to quote to rectify this issue. If you have a warranty and can get the work repaired then you may be in luck, however I would ask myself if I would want to risk the potential that there may be some get out clause in the contract and contact a company that will get it right first time.
